Privacy Policy

Aline is an AI phone agent platform for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how Aline collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our websites, apps, AI phone agents, public verification pages, billing flows, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created by your use of Aline, and information from connected services.

  • Account and authentication information, including email address, user id, password authentication data handled by Supabase, and Google sign-in profile details such as email, name, and avatar when you choose Google sign-in.
  • Workspace and business information, including business names, business contact details, team roles, agent names, agent descriptions, system prompts, first messages, voice settings, phone numbers, and Aline IDs.
  • Agent knowledge and setup content, including text, uploaded files, extracted knowledge, booking configuration, and other materials you provide to create or improve an agent.
  • Call and caller information, including caller and business phone numbers, call status, room names, call duration, call audio, transcripts, recordings, summaries, caller names, caller emails, caller phone numbers, booking details, and follow-up notes when those items are collected during a call.
  • Billing information, including plan, subscription status, customer ids, checkout and portal metadata, and payment-provider events. Payment card details are processed by Dodo Payments and are not stored directly by Aline.
  • Technical information, including IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, log data, cookies, authentication session cookies, workspace preference cookies, and security or diagnostic events.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve Aline and its AI phone agents.
  • Create and authenticate accounts, including email sign-in and Google sign-in.
  • Build, test, run, monitor, and improve phone agents, web test calls, public verification pages, call summaries, usage meters, billing gates, and booking workflows.
  • Generate first messages, agent instructions, transcripts, summaries, outcomes, caller details, and follow-up information.
  • Process subscriptions, invoices, plan limits, checkout sessions, customer portal sessions, fraud prevention, and billing support.
  • Respond to support, privacy, safety, compliance, and security requests.
  • Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, and protect Aline, customers, callers, and the public.

AI and voice processing

Aline uses third-party infrastructure and model providers to provide speech, transcription, language, summarization, booking, calling, and billing features. Depending on the feature, data may be processed by Supabase, Twilio, LiveKit, Deepgram, OpenAI, Dodo Payments, Cal.com, hosting providers, email providers, analytics or logging providers, and similar service providers.

Agent prompts, business details, knowledge-base content, call transcripts, call metadata, and call summaries may be sent to AI and voice providers so Aline can generate responses, transcribe calls, speak to callers, and summarize outcomes. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use Google sign-in data for advertising.

How we share information

  • With service providers and subprocessors that help us host, authenticate, store, secure, bill, transcribe, synthesize speech, generate AI outputs, process calls, send messages, or provide booking integrations.
  • With your connected integrations, such as Cal.com, when you enable a booking skill or ask Aline to create or check bookings.
  • With people you authorize, such as workspace members, account administrators, or business users who can view agents, calls, summaries, billing, and settings.
  • Through public verification pages, where Aline may show limited public agent or call information designed to help callers verify identity without exposing private transcripts, prompts, recordings, or provider metadata.
  • When required by law, legal process, security needs, fraud prevention, enforcement of our agreements, or protection of rights, safety, and property.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Cookies and similar technologies

Aline uses cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, session security, workspace selection, preferences, fraud prevention, analytics, debugging, and product operation. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may prevent parts of Aline from working.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Aline, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support security, and maintain business records. Call records, transcripts, summaries, knowledge-base entries, billing records, and integration metadata may be retained while your account or workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion, but some information may remain in backups, logs, billing records, fraud-prevention records, legal records, or records needed to protect rights and safety.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption for selected secrets, service-role separation, authentication controls, and provider security features. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may also object to certain processing or opt out of marketing emails. To make a request, contact us at privacy@aline.app.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide legally required choices.

Children

Aline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to Aline, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Changes and contact
